Privacy Policy
This policy explains what personal data Emu247 (“we”, “us”) collects when you use the Emu247 website and service, how we use it and what choices you have.
What we collect
- Account: your email address and how you sign in. If you sign in with Google, we also receive your name and profile picture from Google. Passwords are handled by Firebase Authentication, and we never see them.
- Orders: what you rent, rental periods, prices and statuses, the language of the site when you ordered, and the login details of your PCs.
- Payments: the proof images and notes you send us, and our review of them. Proof images can show your name and account details, so you may hide anything we do not need to check the payment. You pay through the payment providers directly, and we never receive your card details or their passwords.
- Support: what you send us on Discord or by email.
- Technical data: your IP address and browser details, which our hosting and cloud providers record in their logs.
What is on your PC
Only you and our team have the login details of your PC. We access a PC only for maintenance or if we detect a breach of our Acceptable Use Policy.
We delete your data 24 hours after your order is closed: every PC is wiped and Windows is reinstalled before the next customer.
How we use your data
- to create your account and sign you in;
- to process orders, check payments and deliver PCs;
- to email you about your orders: payment results, delivery and the end of your rental;
- to answer your questions and solve problems;
- to prevent abuse and enforce our Terms of Service;
- to meet our legal, tax and accounting duties.
We do this because we need the data to provide the service you asked for, to protect our legitimate interests such as preventing abuse, or to meet legal duties.
We do not sell your data, show ads or use analytics or tracking tools.
Where your data is
Our database and files are stored in Singapore, and the PCs are in Southeast Asia. Our providers may also process data in other countries, including for sign-in and email.
How long we keep it
- Data on your PCs: until 24 hours after your order is closed.
- Your account: until you ask us to delete it.
- Orders, payments and proof images: as long as we need them for accounting, tax, disputes and abuse prevention, even after you delete your account.
- Technical logs: for the time set by our providers.
Browser storage
We use your browser’s storage to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
Security
Connections to the site are encrypted, and only you and our team can read your orders and payment proofs. No system is perfectly safe, so please use a strong password, keep the login details of your PCs private and tell us if you think someone else has them.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of your data, or ask us to correct it, delete it, or stop or limit how we use it. Write to support@emu247.com from the email address of your account. We may keep what the law or an open dispute requires. Depending on where you live, you may also complain to your data protection authority.
Children
The service is not for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy, and we show the date of the last update at the top of this page.
